Performance Improvement Framework for Children and Families
The Children and Families Performance Improvement Framework was developed alongside the work of the 21st Century Social Work Review and taken forward by working groups comprising representatives from local authorities, voluntary organisations and the Scottish Government.
The Performance Improvement Framework for Children and Families Services will provide a self evaluation tool that can be used in its entirety when considering all of children and families social work services delivered by an organisation. Alternatively, it can be used in its constituent parts to consider a particular aspect. The Framework provides a systematic and evidence based approach to performance improvement that can be used by organisations to assess the outcomes achieved for children and families, to identify areas for improvement and to track progress on outcomes.
